MINEOLA, N.Y. – Nassau County District Attorney Kathleen Rice was joined by Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano and city and federal officials to announce the dismantling of a multi-million dollar illegal drug pipeline which ran directly from Mexico to New York City and Long Island as part of an investigation involving local, state and federal law enforcement.

Bridget G. Brennan, New York City’s Special Narcotics Prosecutor, New York City Police Commissioner WILLIAM J. BRATTON and Brooklyn District Attorney KENNETH P. THOMPSON announced today the arrest and indictment of 15 members of “GS9”, also known as “G Stone Crips,” a street gang based in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.
