Brennan, New York City’s Special Narcotics Prosecutor announced the indictment of five members of an international drug trafficking ring that arranged for large shipments of narcotics to be transported from Mexico and sold in New York City and elsewhere in the Northeast. In connection with the long-term investigation, authorities seized over 13 kilograms of heroin (30 lbs.) worth millions of dollars on April 17, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The investigation also led to the recovery of more than half a kilogram of cocaine and $835,000 cash.
