Loaded Automatic Weapon, Handgun, 25 Pounds of Cocaine and $350,000 Cash Seized in the Bronx: Narcotics Shipped to New York from Puerto Rico inside Swiffer Boxes

An alleged major trafficker and two other individuals are charged in connection with a large-scale cocaine distribution operation in the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx. Over 10 kilograms of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $3.5 million, $350,000 cash, a pistol and an assault rifle were allegedly recovered during a short-term investigation.

Three Indicted in Connection with Seizure of 40 Pounds of Fentanyl, Heroin and Cocaine, and Seven Semi-Automatic Guns, in Queens and Brooklyn

An indictment filed by the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor and unsealed today in Manhattan Supreme Court charges three defendants in connection with a large-scale narcotics and weapons possession conspiracy. Accused ringleader TERRY BARBOUR faces 32 counts, including Operating as a Major Trafficker, Conspiracy in the Second Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First and Third Degrees, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second and Third Degrees, and other crimes.

The verdict affirms the value of George Floyd’s life, but his senseless death demands an immediate response from those in criminal justice roles.  We must do all we can to restore community trust and ensure a fair and equitable justice system.

Six Charged as Round-the-Clock Street Market for Drugs is Dismantled in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx

Six individuals were arrested and indicted in connection with a disruptive street-level drug organization that operated throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in Washington Heights, Manhattan and Kingsbridge Heights, Bronx. The organization allegedly sold a wide range of substances, including heroin mixed with fentanyl, counterfeit prescription pills containing fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, during the wiretap investigation conducted by the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor and the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) Narcotics Borough Bronx, Narcotics Borough Manhattan North and 33rd Precinct.

Meth Conversion Lab Found in Vacant Bronx Apartment

NEW YORK CITY – A methamphetamine conversion lab was safely dismantled at 3204 Kingsbridge Ave., Apt. 6A, Bronx, NY by members U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and New York City Police Department (NYPD). Agents and officers arrested three individuals and seized approximately 22 pounds of methamphetamine, 45 grams of heroin, and 2,000 pills with the appearance of Percocet and oxycodone that will be tested as possible counterfeits. This is the first meth conversion lab that DEA has encountered in New York City. The case is being prosecuted by New York City’s Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor.

Over 86 Pounds of Suspected Heroin, 1,000 Fentanyl Pills and $200,000 Cash Seized in Ridgewood, Queens: Four Arrests

An accused major trafficker and three other individuals are charged in connection with a large-scale heroin-packaging mill dismantled in Ridgewood, Queens. Approximately 39 kilograms of suspected heroin, with an estimated street value of $12 million, 1,000 fentanyl pills and $200,000 cash were recovered during the investigation, conducted by the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor, DEA’s New York Drug Enforcement Task Force (NYDETF), Group T-21, and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York.
